From camping in a castle to camping with the cows, second night we arrived in Switzerland and asked this Swiss farming family if we could sleep in their front yard, they said yes and even gave us fresh milk from the cows in the morning!
What an epic way to begin our backpacking trip. We spent our first night in an abandoned castle we found high above a village near Strasbourg, France.. And they say camping isn’t luxurious…
We had a great time in Strasbourg with David Bennett and now we are off to Switzerland with little more than hiking boots and sleeping bags.
